Brockton, Massachusetts – August 9, 2023- During an afternoon ceremony held at City Hall, 21 members of the Greater Brockton Minority Business Association (GBMBA) were each awarded a $10,000 grant from the Brockton Redevelopment Authority (BRA). The ceremony, presided over by Mayor Robert Sullivan, saw the presence of elected officials, including Council President Susan Nicastro, City Councilors at Large David Texeira and Moises Rodriques (who is also the President of the Cape-Verdean Association). Nathalie Jean, the Executive Director at BRA, presented the checks to the 21 beneficiaries.
